It's surface is a surreal contrast of untouched wilderness and dense industrialization, though every part has felt the subtle touch of mankind's technology. At the foremost of this is IRIS, the Intuitive, Reconstructive, Integrated Symbiotics - nanotechnology which shapes the body and mind alike. IRIS can make us something more than human, though to go too far carries a terrible price. It is a lesson many have learned the hard way; the person they once were becoming something alien and strange. Horizon has been called the “New, Old West” and not without reason; it is a land of hard-won survival, of savagery and serenity in equal measure. But what of you stranger?
